Spiritual Fitness Camps
"The youth (and other members as applicable), need to be more involved in Jamā’at and integrated in Nizam-e-Khilafat, to strengthen the future of the Jamā’at in the USA. What are the factors which can be appropriately considered in promoting that end? There is need to involve the youth through Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya but how is it best accomplished within the Jamā’at in general"
Majlis-e-Shura 2010
As an action item based on this directive, National Tarbiyat Department started organizing camps for our youth named "Spiritual Fitness Camps"
Spiritual Fitness Camps (SFC) are a nationwide, one-day initiative designed primarily for youth ages 15–25, both boys and girls.
Each SFC should ideally be led by the local missionary. However, a knowledgeable and engaging member may also serve as the facilitator. For sessions involving female participants, please coordinate with Sadr Lajna to identify a female facilitator with whom the girls feel comfortable engaging openly.
SFCs follow a structured, interactive format focused on active youth participation. Do not include speeches or one-way presentations. Instead, emphasize hands-on learning:
• Engage attendees through questions, and challenge them to find answers using www.alislam.org or other online official Jamaat platforms.
• Guide them in practicing essential Tarbiyat activities such as properly performing Wuzu, Tayammum, Iqamah, and observing Islamic etiquettes related to eating, speaking, and personal conduct.
It is vitally important that our youth understands what our religion is and why we are commanded to do and to avoid certain things…the questions raised by our younger generation should be answered by the responsible members of the Community in a nice and engaging manner.
