Taraweeh
- Start and end dates of Ramadan is published at the beginning of the year on Jamaat National Calendar
- Using prayer time calculators you use, prepare a local calendar for the month of Ramadan daily prayer times and times for Iftar and sehri
- Distribute the daily calendar widely and create local motivational programs to educate members on the importance of Ramadan fasting
- Work with you local Missionary to prepare for Dars and Taraweeh. Address importance of Ramadan during a couple of Khutbas ahead of Ramadan
- Strengthen your Salat Centers and try to get more people attend congregational prayers during the month
- Arrange a Dars on Qur'an daily at the mosque
- If your membership is far from the mosque and cannot make it to mosque, arrange for Iftar at the mosque
- Also consider broadcasting the Dars so more people in your Jamaat can take advantage, if they are not able to attend in person due to distance or other concerns
- Arrange for Taraweeh daily at Mosques and Salat Centers
- Over the last three years, we have had teenagers lead some of the Taraweeh and Alhamdillah we had good success training our youth. Starting 2026, we are upping the criteria. Youth 14 years or older, who have memorized at least 2-3 Juzu' of The Holy Qur'an should be encouraged to lead at least one Taraweeh
